What room would you consider the heart of a home? For me, the study or library is the heart of the home. Many would say the kitchen, but I’m no cook. I find that a desk, bookcase, comfortable chair, fireplace, television, telephone, and computer allow me to relax and do myriad projects.Where do you use animal prints, and which are your favorites?I love animal prints. I’ve used a worn-looking wool Wilton carpet in a leopard print in my study (shown here) twice. I don’t tire of it. I’ve used antelope- and zebra-patterned wool carpets several times. And of course, that wonderful heavy silk velvet in tiger and leopard patterns is eternally chic.
